Job Description

What you will do

Seeking entry level Engineer for software development of Building Automation Systems. The position will focus on maintenance and stewardship of existing software system as well as new feature/component development. This position requires the ability to work under general direction in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.

How you will do it

* Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software applications for large building automation systems.
* Software design and development using C/C++.
* Participate in software code / design reviews and engineering documentation reviews.
* Create detailed design documents and provides estimations.
* Analyzes reported bugs and feature requests.
* Performs thorough unit testing of all implementation changes; performs integration testing as appropriate to ensure robust, high-quality implementation prior to delivery to System Test.

What we look for


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
* 1 or more years' experience in object-oriented software development in C/C++
* Solid analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Strong computer network concepts
* Knowledge of threading in a multitasking system
* Linux OS and tools / Embedded Linux
* Works well in teams and on individual assignments.


* Experience with GitHub, CMake & Automated Test tools
* Experience with software communications protocols
* Familiar with XML data types
* Static Code Analysis
* Knowledge of information technology concepts: Software & web security, VPN, Networking, Firewalls, wireless technologies
* Exposure to .Net and .Net Core
