The specialty pharmacy intern will assist with weekend specialty pharmacy operations with a focus on providing care coordination and bedside prescription delivery to solid organ transplant recipients within Johns Hopkins Hospital. The intern will coordinate with the pharmacy teams (inpatient and outpatient) to ensure medication regimens for transplant recipients are documented correctly and discharge prescriptions are provided to the patient at their bedside on the date of discharge. The intern will become proficient with the dispensing system and prepare medications. Each specialty pharmacy intern is expected to work 12 hours every other weekend.

Additional clinical tasks will be assigned as identified by the specialty team, which may include but are not limited to patient monitoring, data collection, project work, and dispensing duties for the pharmacy operation.

* Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy
* Two years retail pharmacy experience preferred
* Shift will be alternating weekends 11am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, excluding holidays
