Job Description

Instructional Assistant

The School District of Jenkintown is seeking applicants for a part-time instructional assistant (5 hours daily) for special education students with autism, learning disabilities, and/or social/emotional needs.

The applicants must meet the requirements of Chapter 14, Pennsylvania Code for personnel, which are:

  • Has two years of post secondary education or
  • Completed an associate's degree or
  • Met a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a state or local assessment.

Previous work with children and/ or teaching certificate preferred.
