Job Description

The Digital Design/Graphic Design Intern supports a team that is responsible for developing and producing creative marketing solutions across print and digital channels. Based on interest and ability, the intern will help the design team with any and all tasks related to the needs of the department.

* Preference is for this position to be Full Time Temporary in Kerrville, TX from January 20 until April 24, 2020.


* Building knowledge and ability to communicate ideas both traditionally (words, sketches) and electronically.
* Skill in executing ideas into ads, posters, photographs, videos, emails, site assets,

logos, signage, packaging, social media posts, flyers, et cetera.
* Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
* Working with Microsoft Office suite.
* Building presentation materials including researching images, ideas, and executions preferred.
* Building knowledge of mood boards showing color palettes, fashion and photographic presentations preferred.
* Observance of all safety regulations; participate in safety training; report all unsafe conditions to the appropriate company personnel.
* Adherence to Company policies including, but not limited to, the Attendance Guideline, Freedom from Harassment, and Employee Discount Guideline.
* Consistently demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; a strong attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skills. Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with the team, both departmental and with cross functional teams to build positive working relationships and establish a high level of trust and credibility throughout the organization.


* Must be enrolled in a college program in one of the following degrees areas: Advertising,

Graphic Design, Photography/Videography, Imaging, Copywriting, Marketing, and/or

Project Management.
* Work samples or portfolio required.
* Knowledge/experience in the following will be considered a plus:

InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML. Portfolio required.
* A GPA of 3.0 or higher in your field is preferred.
* Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
* Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and contributes to a positive team spirit.
* Pass a background check as well as an alcohol, controlled substance, and illegal drug screen that meets Company standards before beginning regular employment.
