As an Entry-level Structural Engineer, you will work with the Engineering and Design Group supporting multi-discipline design projects. The work will typically involve structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, structural steel, aluminum components, etc. the ideal candidate should be able to work independently and with minimal supervision to complete study documents, structural design and analyses, structural specifications, and engineering reports.

Working with other members of the team, you will collaborate in multi-discipline team environment in the evaluation, design, coordination, and execution of projects for our clients. You will assist in the preparation of technical documents and reports, and perform structural analyses and calculations using industry software; such as MathCAD, STAAD, RAM, Visual Analysis, etc. Read, interpret and apply codes and standards to structural design; such as ASTM, IBC, ACI, AISC, etc. Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities. Review construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents.Candidate skills should include good oral and written communications, strong data analysis & technical problem solving, strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, excellent computer skills and team-oriented work practices.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

* B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited civil engineering program with emphasis in structural engineering
* Basic knowledge of structural engineering
* Knowledge of Windows environment and software applications including Microsoft Office Suite

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

* Fundamentals of Engineering (aka EIT) exam passed or ability to pass within 12 months of employment
* M.S. or M.E. degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an ABET accredited engineering program
* Basic working knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry Some experience in structural design and analysis
* Field Experience
