Job Purpose

TheBusiness Analyst Intern will be responsible for developing and supportingoperational processes for JNAM departments, sub-advised mutual funds andthird-party clients. The associate must ensure that all controls and proceduresare being followed on a timely basis.

Essential Job Duties &Responsibilities

* Develop, test, implement and support JNAMsystems.
* Write programs toimprove the efficiency of software applications and/or develop customsolutions to meet the needs of the business.
* Maintain system interfaces andtransmissions between JNAM and internal applications, third-party clientsand vendors.
* Programming with VB.Net, VBA, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel,API Tools as well as program conversions to updated versions.
* Document business and system requirementsthrough use of tools such as project plans, manuals and flow charts.
* Test application upgrades in multipleenvironments.
* Research system enhancements and assurestability and security of information systems.
* Act as a liaison between Corporate IT andvarious JNAM departments.
* Monitor daily tasks and operations and provide support with prompt resolutionsto daily operational issues.
* Perform data analysis, troubleshoot issuesand complete ad hoc assignments as requested.
* Analyzes IT related business needs. Documents business and system requirementsthrough use of tools such as project plans, manuals and flow charts.


* Other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills &Abilities

* Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
* Solid understanding of database design and creation with MS Access or otherRDMS.
* Working knowledge of Object OrientedProgramming strongly preferred in VB.NET and VBA.
* Working knowledge of Visual Studio, MS Office Suite, SQL and FileTransmission.
* Familiar with development life cycleprocess and methodology.
* Prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
* Attention to detail, ensuring quality andaccuracy of work.
* Strong organization and communicationskills, creative, motivated, punctual, ability to work independently andas part of a team.

Education and Experience Required

* Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Systems or technical relateddegree.
* Financial industry experience a plus.
