Job Description

Summary

Our Information Technology Department is seeking a DevOps Summer Intern in our Bar Harbor, ME location. This is an exciting opportunity as JAX is introducing this skill into the department, and you can have the opportunity to help within its inception.

Responsibilities

* Partnering with IT teams across the enterprise the interns will be accountable for the following:
* Development and implementation of automated application health monitoring, notification and issue resolution where applicable.
* Maturing application configuration management and build/deployment processes through Continuous Integration and Delivery techniques.
* Furthering production system stability via development and implementation of L2 support procedures and automation of application security controls.


* Candidates will likely come from a Computer Science/Engineering or Software Engineering program.

Qualifications

* Must be currently enrolled in college
* Ability to demonstrate successful completion of coursework in the related field(s)
* Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn
* Must have experience working on projects with a team
* Must be responsible, reliable, accountable, attentive to detail and quality
