Jackson County is seeking an
Assistant to the County Engineer
This is a full-time position that involves assisting the County Engineer
in performing engineering duties in surveying, planning, designing,
drafting and construction inspecting, administration and material
testing of departmental projects.
Successful candidates should possess a Civil Engineering Associate
Degree or Civil Engineering Technology Degree. Applicants preferred
to have, or be able to attain within one year, certifications from Iowa
DOT for Aggregate, HMA1 and PCC1 & 2, Contract Administration
and Erosion Control.
An equivalent combination of education and experience which
provides the required knowledge and skill set necessary
may be considered.
Candidates must possess valid State of Iowa driver’s license

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience!
