Job Description

We are seeking software engineers who have a passion for technology and education to help us add new features to our three extremely successful educational products and build new, innovative products. We are constantly adding new features for our over 2 million paid, subscribed users, helping students and teachers in all 50 states and over 190 countries. 

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust infrastructure and services for all of the company’s products
  • Participate in live performance monitoring, which includes building the tools that allow us to detect and address trouble spots
  • Troubleshoot and fix production performance and security issues
  • Develop tools, procedures, and documentation to improve team efficiency
  • Involved in all aspects of the development process, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and tuning
  • Work closely with product designers and other teams to create educational software for users
  • Qualifications
  • Requires a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent
  • Must also possess coursework or experience background with object oriented programming including Java; standard software practices, from design through testing, for a large software system; data structures; algorithm design and analysis; and database system design
