Job Description

Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the Division. This position is for the instruction of utility pole climbing. This includes stepped poles, cross connection box poles and 28 foot extension ladder handling. Must be able to climb to 40 feet and demonstrate proper three points of contact climbing and use of the Bucksqueeze. Instruction will be in outside utility pole yard in various weather conditions. Previous utility pole climbing experience is necessary. Previous instructor/facilitation/teaching experience preferred. This position requires no travel.
