Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates the talent acquisition function for corporate and field office locations including strategy development and analysis, pro-active sourcing, selection and on-boarding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conducts and improves recruitment efforts for all levels of the company ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures

o Partners with leadership to determine recruitment strategies including sourcing, outreach efforts and passive candidate searches

o Ensures positions are posted internally and/or externally in alignment with strategy

o Partners with external recruitment agencies to fill unique and/or hot jobs as well as temporary roles, when necessary

o Ensures a positive recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers

o Communicates frequently and openly with hiring managers on status of open positions; clearly sets expectations and ensures understanding of roles and best practices related to recruitment activities

o Coordinates interview process including screening resumes/applications, prescreening selected candidates, scheduling interviews

o Ensures appropriate documentation of hiring decisions

o Coordinates job offer ensuring final candidates receive comprehensive, timely & accurate information

o Performs recruiting tasks with a sense of urgency necessary to achieve or exceed desired staffing levels on a regular and consistent basis

o Establishes trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity and communication with leadership and candidates

* Sources to ensure a diverse talent pool

o Determines and coordinates participation in career fairs to bolster diversity ensuring ITC is represented professionally and memorably

o Leverages social media and online recruiting sources

o Participates in educational and industry specific groups and associations as well as community outreach programs

o Identifies new and unique methods of sourcing for diverse talent

o Identifies and assists in the implementation of activities to improve efforts toward meeting affirmative action utilization targets

o Partners with communication subject matter experts and others to effectually publicize ITC's brand for recruitment purposes

* Coordinates and continuously improves the internship program

o Develops and maintains professional relationships with universities; identifies, coordinates and participates in university activities including ensuring ITC is represented professionally and memorably at career fairs

o Ensures a highly talented annual group of interns with the potential to transition to direct hires

o Coordinates and continuously improves intern activities including but not limited to onboarding, social and annual intern events

* Partners with technology subject matter experts to create recruitment system efficiencies
* Maintains recruiting records and provides related reports and metrics
* Coordinates the supplemental staffing procedure and prepares quarterly audit reports
* Participates in projects and initiatives as related to Talent Acquisition and overall HR team strategies and goals

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience recruiting non-exempt and exempt employees; prior technical recruiting experience with engineering and IT preferred
* Strong organizational, documentation and communication skills required
* Experience recruiting in a highly competitive environment
* Capability to work with a sense of urgency
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to work additional hours, at times in the evenings or on weekends, to ensure positions are filled expeditiously
* Ability to multi-task
* Capability to anticipate and solve problems and make sound business decisions
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels, inside and outside the company
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Taleo, desired
* Ability to travel to career fair destinations both locally and nationally, as well as to other recruiting or development related events or offerings
