Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Registration Program Manager (RPM) is responsible for the attendee experience throughout the program registration process and onsite execution phase. This includes management of attendee preferences, evaluation and authorization for room blocking, fee collection, managing enrollment for participant activities/events, attrition management and reporting requirements. The Senior RPM leads the registration process and is the main point of contact for attendees, clients, registration vendors (website, badge printing, mobile applications) hotels and resulting accommodations, DMC and/or other suppliers, and internal team members as it relates to overall attendee management.

The Senior Registration Program Manager also provides leadership to all Registration Program Managers, assisting with training, problem solving, customer issues, coverage when team members are not available, new systems issues and client information.

Hiring Requirements:

Four year degree preferred or Associate degree with industry experience.

Minimum three years business experience.

Ability to think and act in a proactive manner. Capable of seeing the big picture while understanding how each element contributes to the greater whole. Must be competent to project how a change or delay in one area will impact the overall project. Willingness to try new ideas and challenge status quo.
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft® PowerPoint, Microsoft® Word and Microsoft® Excel. Experience with Project Management Software, Visio and CRM system knowledge a plus, but not required.
Ability to coach and mentor employees and conduct training sessions on specific topics.
Excellent data entry skills.
Ability to understand web site registration and verification process.
Ability to process detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong organization skills to handle numerous projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to interact professionally and positively with a varying group of internal and external customers.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to handle a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Highly motivated and self-directed
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate and produce the desired results, throughout all levels of the organization.
Ability to think analytically to solve problems individually as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to handle numerous projects, prioritize workload, plan, schedule and coordinate projects to meet deadlines and delegate responsibility when necessary.
Ability to travel on a limited basis.
Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers' needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred.
Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
