Project Coordinator

Client Location: Cumming, GA

Direct Hire

Salary: Targeting $75K with 12% bonus and profit share

Our client is looking to add a Project Coordinator to their team. In this role you will support the Product Management Team with process support throughout the life cycle of the product lines. The primary process is the introduction of new products. This position serves as a cross-functional servant leader and bridge-builder within the team and across the value chain. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.


  • You will work with the Process Management Team, Product Managers, Product Engineers and other members of the Product Launch Team to create, maintain, coordinate and communicate the project schedules for new product introductions, product price changes, product changes, product obsolescence, etc.
  • Communicate the status of all ongoing projects to the company by producing and providing frequent product launch announcements. This includes posting launch details and required launch documentation to our Intranet and web store.
  • Work within the Process Management Team to develop and enhance team specific and companywide process procedures and flow charts
  • Work within the Process Management Team to administer product support processes and guidelines
  • There may be up to 10% travel

What you'll need:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a technical field
  • 3+ years hands-on project management experience with new product introduction OR product development
  • 1+ years leading new product introduction working with cross-functional project teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate-level experience with various software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Would be great if you had:

  • Microsoft Project or web-based project management software
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience creating and maintaining procedures
  • Experience creating and maintaining process flow charts
