Job Description

Title: Quality Assurance Team Lead

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Team Lead to join their team as both a leader and active participant in their software QA process. If you have QA automation experience, excellent leadership & communication skills, and can help them complete their migration toward automated QA testing, let's talk.

A sampling of duties includes:

  • Participate in all levels of testing activities Design, develop and execute automated tests (Cypress experience preferred) Develop and execute a migration plan to move toward automated testing for all regression testing
  • Develop and execute a plan for training existing QA resources on automation techniques
  • Participate in agile processes including validating user stories and ensuring strong acceptance criteria from which test cases can be developed.
  • Ensure adoption of QA principles throughout the product development life cycle
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to improve the quality of the deliverables and ensure the business needs are met
  • Profile manual and automated acceptance criteria and test cases to drive automation
  • Detect, report, and track software defects
  • Evaluate effectiveness of QA methods and adjust as needed to increase effectiveness and efficiency

To be successful; you should possess most of the following:

  • Proven experience as a quality assurance team lead, manager or relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
  • 3+ years performing software quality assurance role in an Agile Scrum environment
  • 2+ years automated testing experience with tools such as Cypress or

Selenium

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and Scripting helpful
  • Motivated, driven, leader who can take our QA team to the next level
