Job Description

MDM Engineer

Location: Norcross, GA 30071

Direct Hire: Targeting $100K

*Looking for junior to mid MDM Engineers who have experience specifically with AirWatch. If you love designing, building, and configuring Enterprise Mobile Management environments then I want to speak with you.


  • Architect, build, configure and upgrade environments based on current and forecasted customer requirements (10%)
  • Provide 24x7 administration of client environments to include all change management functions: scheduling/executing application deployments, security configurations, content updates, structure changes, patch management, etc. (50%)
  • Serve as technical liaison to vendors for customer environment support issues (5%)
  • Participate on MSA's as requested to design, consult, build and test client solutions (25%)
  • Provide technical guidance and training to Endpoint Administrators, Engineers, technical staff and help desk personnel (5%)
  • Maintain expertise in multiple MDM/UEM/EMM platforms and mobile devices by continued technical and product training and providing clear communication of relevant information (white papers, presentations, SME assignment, certifications, etc.) (5%)
  • Design, plan and execute migration methods between environments
  • Develop and maintain change management processes for environments


  • 4+ years of production MDM/UEM/EMM experience with AirWatch
  • 3+ years of IT experience (Admin, Network, etc.)
  • Expertise and senior-level certification on AirWatch or some other mobile platform and a broad understanding of design and configuration best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of current mobile technology (Apple iOS and Google Android)
  • In-depth working knowledge of Apple DEP/VPP and managed Google Play technologies and best practice usage of these
  • Advanced knowledge of LDAP/AD queries, security protocols and certificates
  • Working knowledge of Firewall and general networking terminology
  • Working knowledge of server technologies (Windows, VMware, etc.)
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills (technical documentation is a requirement of the role)


  • Change management/release management: complex custom software deployments and QA
  • Mobile security (device and network)
  • Familiar with all 802.11 and WWAN wireless technologies - functional knowledge of basic parameters for wireless networking
  • Industry certifications from 3rd parties (CompTIA, SANS, Apple, Samsung, Zebra, Honeywell, etc.)
  • Knowledge of rugged devices (Zebra, Honeywell, etc.) and bar coding systems
