Job Description

Iowa State University's Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management invites applications for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) position.

Position responsibilities include undergraduate teaching, in a class to be determined based upon need. Lecturers teach a variety of courses in textiles and clothing including apparel production, patternmaking, textile science, fashion illustration, history of clothing, museum studio, entrepreneurship, merchandising, buying, visual merchandising, and aesthetics.

The Iowa State University Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship offers a unique internship opportunity for entrepreneurial-minded students. The program is designed for students who have a strong and demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and in working in an entrepreneurial environment. The Reiman Scholars in Entrepreneurship is our cornerstone experience-based learning program. The program was initially funded in 1997 by a grant from the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and was later endorsed with a significant gift from Roy and Bobbi Reiman in 1999.
