Position Overview:

This is a new college graduate position for a qualified individual to work in Intersil's IAP Rad Hard product line applications group. The candidate will interact with senior engineers working on analog and mixed signal products for space applications. The candidate will contribute to all aspects of development from product conception to release to production.


The candidate will be responsible for applications support of a selection of Rad-Hard products, both existing and under development. This will include maintaining and developing datasheet, SMD, and application note documents. Responsibilities will also include support of customer inquiries. Electrical bench work will be necessary to support validation of development projects and customer inquiries.


* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
* Candidates should have courses geared to analog and mixed signal integrated circuit design
* Areas of coursework should include exposure to some or all of switched mode power supplies, switched-capacitor circuits, amplifiers, comparators, data-converters, regulators, oscillators and references.
* Additional coursework emphasis on CMOS and BiCMOS process technologies is desired
* Knowledge and exposure to circuit and system simulation tools (Matlab, Cadence) and Office Environment Software
* Experience related to the areas mentioned is a plus.
* Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills
* Highly motivated and creative individuals preferred
