Job Description

We're not looking for just any HR professional. We're looking for someone who will help us continue to be a great place to work - one where employees can do their best work and have fun doing it. You'll be supporting the HR team and employees in all HR functions including recruiting and on-boarding, employee relations, compensation, staff development, and other HR projects.

What you'll be doing

The HR Associate's primary role is to provide support to the Jack Boston and Genuine business units. This position reports to the HR Director located in our Boston office. Additionally, this role will support global HR initiatives/ programs as opportunities arise.

Recruiting & Onboarding

* Lead full cycle recruiting for assigned junior and mid-level roles to ensure a diverse and best in class workforce
* Proactively identify new sources for candidates to build applicant pool
* Process new hires through our system and track candidates for quarterly compliance requirements
* Support efforts to manage our school recruiting and intern programs in assigned markets
* Represent Jack Morton at job fairs as needed
* Support the onboarding process in assigned markets to ensure effective on-boarding of all new employees
* Prepare onboarding documents for new hires and schedule meetings for the employee's 1st week

Performance Management

* Communicate the annual performance review process and follow up with managers and employees as necessary
* Coach staff in completing the performance management process to ensure annual feedback is provided to staff
* Provide support for reporting and system administration
* Manage the exit process for all employees and may conduct exit interviews for junior to mid level talent

Culture & Community

* Help drive our I AM JACK initiatives in assigned markets
* Participate and support local office culture and community initiatives

Employee Relations & Staff Development

* Serve as sought after resource for staff
* Research and coordinate training programs
* Market and track learning and development opportunities

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree
* Some great experience under your belt - at least 3 years in HR ideally in a related industry
* High degree of discretion and confidentiality absolutely required
* Attention to detail a must
* Desire to grow in field of Human Resources
* Being smart but also having common sense is critical.
* You'll need great time and project management skills. There's a lot to do!
