Job Description

WHAT DOES A HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST DO? The incumbent uses knowledge of personnel management program activities to perform work in two or more of the following personnel management functions: position management/classification, labor/employee relations, staffing, recruitment, placement, human resource development, performance management, employee benefits, human resources information systems and/or occupational analysis.

WHAT TYPE OF APPOINTMENT IS THIS? This is a Full-Time/Permanent,Career/Career Conditional appointment. Moving expenses are not authorized. WHAT IS THE (BUSINESS UNIT) DIVISION? This position is located in the Small Business/Self-Employed Business Unit of the IRS. This position is Full-Time,(40 hours per week), Permanent, Career/Career Conditional. You will be working in a business office setting located in Lanham/Seabrook, MD. The Tour-of-Duty is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Interviews may be conducted.
