System Validation Lead

Job Description

The System Validation lead will work as part of iVE (Intel Validation Engineering). The lead is expected to drive Validation Steering Team (VST) across disciplines including planning, tracking readiness/execution, driving issues to closure with right stakeholder management, and deliver on validation milestones on schedule with high quality while making the right trade-offs. The lead needs to be quick to ramp up in adjacent areas of expertise. This role works in cross-site collaboration with Design/architecture/pre-si/FW/SW/BIOS and other post-Si teams to understand technical features, leverage BKMs, and demonstrate leadership.

In this role responsibilities may include, although not limited to:

* Development of methodologies and capabilities that enable efficiency and effectiveness of execution/debug.
* Provide mentoring to other team members on validation BKMs and debug.

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

* Willingness to independently read specifications, provide critique and drive issues impacting post-Si execution.
* Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills .
* Leadership skills.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience.

9+ years of experience with:

* Power management, Reset/Fuse, Security, PCIe, Memory sub-system validation, Design for Debug (DFD), Single-root input/output virtualization (SRIOV), Reliability-Availability-Serviceability (RAS)
* Computer System Architecture.
* Subsystem HW/SW stack, including the silicon, all onboard HW components and connectors and devices, drivers, and applications.
* Project/program management experience with hardware validation.
* Debug of Intel chipsets and/or CPUs.
* Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, in-target probes ITP and Lauterbach LTB.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with:

* Graphics architecture and validation challenges.
* Software and driver development.
* FPGA and/or SLE emulation usage for validation.
* IP or Full Chip.
