Job Description

Strategic Business Developer Job Description

Responsible for accelerating revenue growth and profitability by developing business relationships with third parties to complete business unit platform/product portfolios and accomplish business unit strategic objectives. Drive complex business transactions from deal conception and negotiations to contract closure with companies which positively and significantly impact the business bottom line and/or competitive position. Establish deal structures and business models comprehending intellectual property concerns, licensing scope, statements of work, go to market strategies, etc. as appropriate for the business. Work with ICap colleagues to proactively utilize equity tools for M&A and provide business agreement support for venture investments. Contribute to business strategy development or other strategic projects as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* BSEE, BSCE, Wireless Communication, or related engineering degree
* 1-2 year experience with either digital design or digital processing elements preferably in a FPGA, ASIC, GPU, CPU, SoC environment
* 1-2 year experience of software programming and experience in at least one language (C/C++/RTL)
* Understanding of telecom and/or wireless communications networks

Preferred (Additional) Qualifications

* Working or intern experience in any high-tech industry, preferably in a FPGA, ASIC, GPU, SoC, telecom, network, etc.
* Strong understanding of digital signal processing.
* Out-of-the-box strategic thinker with passion for combining technology and business
* Knowledge and/or experience in telecom and networking industry
* Experience working for mobile operators, network infrastructure vendors
* Understanding of broader Communications, Consumer, Data Center, Cloud market and technologies is desirable.
* Familiar with at least one of the following emerging technologies such as vRAN, MEC, IoT, Network Security, Blockchain, ML, AI, etc.

MSEE, MSCE in a related degree
