Job Description

Intel's US Sales and Marketing Group is looking for interns to join our team. Team USA is part of Intel's Global Sales and Marketing Group SMG and is collectively responsible for driving the accelerated adoption of Intel technology across the United States. As an intern in US Sales Group, you will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment with experienced sales and marketing professionals. You will have exposure to many of the aspects of SMG's functions. These typically include: the development and delivery of Intel's overall marketing strategy, collateral digital marketing and social selling, communications, activating campaigns and advocating for Intel's product portfolio.Specifically, in the US Sales Online Sales Group OSG you will be working with OSG Managers and Staff on projects that will impact Sales  Strategy, Coverage, Digital Studio Strategies and Data Analytics. These projects would help drive decisions impacting the OSG's ability to deliver results. You would interact with Online Sales Account Managers and Online Applications Engineers to learn how we establish and grow profitable relationships while competing in a highly diverse ecosystem of products and components.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Ability to consistently deliver results under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience influencing via excellent written and oral communication
  • Demonstrated skills in driving processes and solving problems across multiple business groups
  • Strong analytical and data management skills and ability to work through complex/ambiguous business scenarios


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Enrolled and pursuing a BS or MS degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Must be able to work fulltime at the Intel campus during the specified dates
  •  This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of sales cycle and marketing strategies
  • Understanding of Sales CRMs Salesforce.com, etc and their role in the Sales Process
  • Familiarity with Intel Architecture products and customers and a working knowledge of broader PC market drivers and trends
  • Proven experience engaging with and supporting customers
  • Proven experience of Excel/Access, including the use of pivot tables, advanced logic functions, and other complex formulas
