Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

lectrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics Interns work in various functions related to RF module test, database, electrical HW schematic and symbol development.
In this job, candidate will need basic knowledge in electrical circuits, database, C, C++ or C#.
Positions include:
1.  Application development involves full life cycle development of a software tool that assists the Module Test Engineers to quickly identify the root cause for the low yield and high alpha rate issues at the NPI stage. Fundamental data mining and machine learning algorithms will be implemented to automatically isolate tester specific issues so that the root cause will be uncovered.  The full life cycle software development includes the collection of requirements, software design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
2. Schematic and symbol creation and design.  Electrical engineers will learn the basics in product design and building blocks for HW development and CAD.
3. Focused on 3D electromagnetic analyses of antennas, microstrip/stripline filters/components.  Circuit design of components, RFIC and complete systems RF measurements including s-parameter up to mmwave frequencies; RF packaging background including multilayer PCBs, substrates, LTCC, etc.
4. Direct Data Retrieval (DDR) has been deployed as a Windows Form application on a
dedicated remote desktop server. Web application development aims to make the DDR
available through web service. The full functionality of the existing Windows based
DDR needs to be implemented. In addition, the web UI/UX is also the major design consideration. If the development work is accomplished sooner, mobile app development for data reporting will be the next assignment.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position. Minimum requirements: The ideal candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Physics or similar technical background. At least 3+ months of prior experience with: - RF hardware - RF test HW or Software - Database. Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship Preferred qualifications - Junior/Senior - Cadence, HFSS, C++, C, C#, Windows database, Matlab, LabView valuable
