Come join our team if you are interested in Linux/open source networking. You will be part of the team responsible for next generation Ethernet/LAN driver development, covering open source and Windows operating systems. Your primary task will be to work with the Linux device driver developers to develop and debug driver features and Linux Kernel OS. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Minimum requirements:
The candidate must be pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 months of experience/knowledge with:
- Linux Ethernet Networking stack
- TCP/IPEthernet driver development experience and Linux Kernel development experience
- C/C++ programming language
- Object oriented programming in Windows and/or Linux
Preferred Requirements: Software engineering practices such as design, documentation, prototype, code, and developer level testing
