Job Description

You will part of a dynamic team that drives architecture and development of leading edge security solutions covering Intel mobile, client and server platforms and Microsoft Operating Systems and technologies. You will be part of a larger group with proven track record on Security technologies, Windows OS, Windows Development tools and runtime and will be able to meaningfully impact both Intel and Microsoft future technologies. As part of delivering these solutions to Microsoft, you may work deeply in the Windows OS, develop device drivers, prototype applications and solution stacks, characterize performance and overhead, etc.

In addition to developing production-quality code, the team also works very closely with the architecture teams in PEG on the development of new security technologies. We are involved from the early stages of technology design and requirements, through design and security reviews, PoC's and eventual product delivery. This affords us a unique ability to influence technologies at all stages in their development and prioritization and is not found in most other software teams within Intel. You will be responsible for design and development of proof-of-concepts/prototypes related to new security technologies and Intel architecture.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavior skills:

  • Strong attention to detail in order to deliver high-quality code and to deal constructively with feedback
  • Able to work independently and deliver the prototype to customers and present your results to the rest of the team
  • Demonstrated technical leadership
  • Familiarity with threat landscape and passion for driving solutions to mitigate

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree on related field.

At the bachelor level applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

1+ year experience with Development in C/C++.

Practical knowledge of security.

Knowledge of Operating Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Windows device drivers
