Job Description

The Next Generation and Standards organization (NGS) in Intel's Client and Internet of Things Businesses and Systems Architecture, (CISA) is looking for a Software Engineer for 5G and other network communication projects!

The successful candidate is energetic, an entrepreneur mindset and fast learner individual and will work on new and existing prototyping projects.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or related discipline)

- Minimum of 3 months experience with programming languages C, C++ and Python

- Minimum of 3 months experience in network communication protocols

- Minimum of 3 months experience working with Multithreaded - Multicore programming

- Minimum of 3 months experience programming on Linux/VxWorks

Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year experience with programming languages C, C++ and Python

- Experience in 4G/LTE technologies and good understanding of 3GPP specs is highly desirable

- Experience in networking TCP/IP, Socket, etc. desirable

- Experience with Unit Test and Automation development

- Experience in configuration management tools like Git

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
