Job Description

Com intern at Intel and be part of the performance analysis and workload/use-case development team, and participate in development, data-collection, analysis, and optimization activities. Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements. Job assignments may be for the summer or for short periods throughout the school year.

Your Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • You will develop parallel processing workloads for diverse environments including OpenCL, Cuda, Sycl and exercise them on a diverse set of platforms including CPU/GPU/FPGA/Movidius.
  • Work with latest Intel compilers, development environments, various tools for performance and debugging.
  • Develop new workloads/benchmarks, run them on related platforms, do performance analysis, and optimize the workload and Intel products stack.


You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with:
    • Programming languages C/C++
    • Operating systems Linux and/or Windows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in OpenCL and Cuda
  • Previous experience with low-level programming is a plus.
  • Knowledge/course-work in ML/DL or other compute sensitive domains will be a plus.
