Job Description

Next Generation and Standards Group NGS is responsible for wireless standards development within Intel. The candidate will work with world-class 3GPP 5G team on baseband or RF related standardization development, advanced algorithm research and innovation towards the Next Generation of Wireless Networks.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Literature survey, algorithm development including theoretical and numerical analysis on 5G communication systems for RF or baseband- Evaluate technical feasibility of new features and technologies and support related standard activities.- Work cross functional collaboration with Research, Product Development, Test and Regulatory teams.- Link and system-level simulator development in software Matlab & C/C++- support standard/product development of 5G wireless and emerging technologies.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:- EE or CS PhD candidate or related discipline or MS EE, CS, or related with at least 2+ years of industry or research experience.- 2+ years of experience in one or more than one of the following areas: - Digital communication theory, digital signal processing and simulation MATLAB, C/C++ - Electromagnetic propagation or antenna theory and simulation CST or HFSS - RF/Microwave circuit theory and simulation Cadence or ADS Additional Qualifications:- Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing/Communication Theory, or- Strong understanding of RF component or system development: design, analysis, and verification- Excellent Analytical and Research Skills.- Self-Motivated, Proactive and good team player.- Excellent Communications Skills, Documentation and/or Writing Skills,- Creative Problem Solver.
