Job Description

As a member of a team of BIOS engineers, you will work closely with your peers and the lead engineers to deliver high quality UEFI firmware supporting a variety of silicon features on server platforms.

You will be expected to develop firmware as well as quickly debug and resolve issues in both the pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.

Job duties may include but are not limited to:

- Develop platform UEFI firmware, reference code, and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation server chipsets/processors and various memory technologies

- Responsible for authoring firmware specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing/supporting platform UEFI firmware for Intel's server CPUs, chipsets, and non-volatile memory

- Work closely with Intel silicon design and validation teams and be responsible for all software and UEFI-related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

- The candidate must possess a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.

?- At the level of BS the candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in US.

-Minimum 6 months of experience with:

  • C programming
  • Software engineering processes and principles

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Unified Extensible Firmware Interface UEFI
