Job Description :

Supporting freight spends management within the Global Logistics Operations (GLO). Transportation expert who serves as freight liaison between GLO & Intel Business Units. Key functions include creation of freight forecasts, monthly spending reconciliation, understanding spending drivers & leading freight related cost savings initiatives through in-depth analysis of the global Intel supply chain. Identify improvements based on understanding of business processes and supply chain dependencies. Lead / participate in cross-functional teams involving various improvement activities, must possess high tolerance of ambiguity and ability to properly prioritize workload. Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing stakeholders, analysis, Plan/POR, benchmarking, system enhancements and departmental indicators.

  • Experienced supply chain background in transportation and/or warehousing.
  • Strong financial acumen and possess a strong desire to learn global transportation Industry is critical for future career development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, problem solving and capacity to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Have the ability to operate in a highly matrix, dynamic environment, develop effective relationships for achieving key deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, continually changing environment with off-hours meeting flexibility and occasional international travel.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be pursuing a BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Logistics/Supply chain experience is a plus.Knowledge of Capital equipment transportation is an advantage.
  • Lean knowledge or experience are a plus.Excel skills, logistics, data mining skills are a plus.
  • Advanced Data Science Skills (Computer Science BS, Information Systems BS)
