System Validation Engineer

Our team needs you! We're part of the Silicon Engineering organization within network products, and we're looking for motivated, passionate and talented engineers to join our System Validation team.

We're a strong, vibrant cross-site team US and India who define, create and develop the environment and test suites that we use to validate "QuickAssist" silicon, both in IP form pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon as it is integrated into various products.

We need your skills and talent in system validation engineering to apply smart and efficient validation techniques to validate RTL both in the pre-silicon and post-silicon spaces.

As a successful SV tools engineer in our team, you'll be responsible for using and applying emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec and use case validation.

You will also be responsible for the development of methodologies, test content development, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.

You'll also need to have a good working knowledge in multiple areas of computer architecture and system design, and you'll be required to interface with our peers in Architecture, Silicon Design, and Pre-silicon Verification.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

-Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Communications and Electronic Engineering

-At the BS level the candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in USA.

-Minimum 6 months of experience with:

  • C/C++/Python coding.
  • Validation test methodologies and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Expertise in North or South Complex pairing

-IP Security

-Acceleration Complex.


-Network related technologies

-Good relationships and experience with PEG/SVE methodologies
