GMC Marketing Intern Graduate


Intel's Global Marketing and Communications GMC Group is looking for interns to join our team. As an intern you will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment with experienced marketing professionals to develop and activate marketing programs designed to increase sales, brand relevance, and corporate perception. You will collaborate with our broad and diverse marketing and communications teams, in addition to other sales and marketing groups within Intel, to connect the Intel brand to consumer, business, and internal audiences. GMC interns will own specific portions of a larger overall marketing strategy that may include but not limited to: event management, activating campaigns, project management, digital marketing, communications, operations, research, training for sales and marketing, collateral development, and customer evaluations and tracking. In addition to learning and working with some of the best marketing and communications professionals in the industry, GMC offers marketing interns opportunities to network and engage with our broader teams to explore other facets of marketing at Intel.You will be encouraged and supported to discover your marketing interests while being mentored with senior team members. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

-Pursuing a MBA degree with an undergrads in marketing, communications, digital/social strategy, or advertising.

-GPA of 3.0+

-Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into intelligence, offer data-based solutions to a variety of business problems, and enable marketing strategy.

-Work experience in a marketing role like digital, campaign management, social media, PR, communications, or marketing analytics gained through work experience, other internships, or marketing clubs.

-This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Prior work with an advertising agency either as an employee or customer.

-Big Data Analytics - assist business with insights based on finding patterns and relationships in large data sets.

-Combine behavioral data (e.g. web behavior, social media listening, search, telemetry, etc.) with traditional primary research data (e.g. survey-based data, focus groups, etc.)
