Automotive Engineering Intern


Exciting things are happening within the Data-center Engineering Group. The team is focusing on innovation, working on next generation data-center technology and driving new business for Intel. We are looking for amazing Deep Learning engineers who have a passion for developing incredible products and want to join an exceptional team. You will play a pivotal role from product inception to implementation and getting the products in the hands of end-users. You will need to have a solid technical background in computer science or relevant field, in order to come up with new ideas as well as strive for a deep understanding of our products and services in order to continually improve upon them. Willingness to jump in and roll up your sleeves as part of a focused team in a high-energy environment. The team culture values being a team player, engineering and technical excellence, and grass roots innovation in a fast paced environment. We work hard, but also like to have a lot of fun!

This is a 3 to 6 months internship.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in:
    • Computer hardware, computer system architecture, system FW and BIOS
    • Hardware design for FPGA, ASIC, or similar Computer programing
    • Data structures
    • C/C++ programming skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Intel system and silicon architecture.
  • Familiarity to optimize software systems to support innovative HW IPs from Intel.
  • Deep Learning, Machine Learning or AI.
