Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern 2018


One of Intel's fastest-growing business groups is looking for new interns to work in various areas of software engineering. Intel's NVM Solutions Group NSG is an industry leader in Solid-State Drive SSD products and is responsible for the new 3D XPointtm Technology, the first breakthrough storage/memory technology the industry has seen in decades that Intel just announced in July. As a member of the Software Validation and Capabilities team within NSG, you could be working in software Test and Validation, Automation development, Tools development, DevOps or other areas of software engineering supporting the development and validation of SSDs and new storage technologies. Do you hunger to be knee-deep in new technology? Do you want to directly support and make an impact on the development of exciting new storage products? Are you passionate about finding better ways of getting work done through software? We have many internship opportunities available in support of storage technology development, and we're looking for bright and eager undergraduate interns who are ready to roll up their sleeves and join in the fun. The ideal candidate needs to have passion for technology and software, and communication and teamwork skills.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

- Must be junior or senior pursuing a  BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

- The candidate must have legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (open to permanent residents and US citizens only).

Preferred Qualifications

-6+ months of experience working with foundation in computer science principles.

-6+ months of experience working with multiple programming languages including Python, Angular, and C++
