Software Engineer


This position is for a software engineer in the Global Supply Management Quality & Reliability (GSM Q&R) organization supporting quality systems and automation tools used to drive efficiency in managing supply chain quality.  The software engineer / developer will work closely with business process experts to design, develop and deploy new applications.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills and the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related discipline is required. 
  • Must have a legal or permanent right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with users to define valid business requirements, creating and managing relational databases, developing secure .NET applications in C#. 
  • Additional desired skills include server management, testing and validation and application deployment methodologies.  Specific skills / technologies the candidate should be familiar with:
  • .NET & client-side programming (C#, JavaScript / JQuery)
  • SQL Server Management (Database Design & Maintenance, T-SQL, etc…)
  • Windows Server Management.
  • Project Management / Application PLC (Project Life Cycle)
  • Web Development: ASP.net Web forms, Angular, ASP.net MVC.
  • DB Technologies: Linq, SQL, No SQL.
  • Testing FWs: Visual Studio Test FW, Telerik Test Studio, Selenium.
  • Development methodologies: TTD, Agile, etc.
  • Design: Design patterns, Architectural patterns.
