Software Engineer 2017


***This req is to facilitate an intern conversion***We're a small advanced development team working at a site in downtown Portland where we are implementing autonomous driving usages on Intel platforms. We're seeking motivated, professional software engineers to join us in this exciting project. In this position you will gain invaluable experience in a key Internet of Things target market which will allow growth and expanded opportunities within this business group as well as future possible opportunities with other business groups within Intel.


Qualifications

You must possess the following minimum qualifications. Preferred qualifications are a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Technical Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 6 years of work experience, Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 4 years of related work experience, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of related work experience. - Working knowledge of Agile SW development methodologies - Expert level object-oriented (C/C++) developer - Experience developing software for Linux - Embedded development - Experience with sensors, sensor fusion - Experience with performance analysis and optimization of code, system-level optimization - Good hardware/software integration and debugging skills You must also have: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in English - The desire to collaborate in a team environment, where we achieve the goal together - The ability to successfully work within project timelines - The desire to work in a start-up-like environment with a tolerance of ambiguity and adaptability to change - The ability to perform independent research work and communicate results with clarity
