Intern for Data Center Group SW Team

This intern will be responsible for setting up software test automation scripts to run daily regressions of existing tests efficiently on remote server farms. As needed, should be able to collect and present test results logs, cause for failures, stats on number/types of tests that ran successfully, time it took to run the regression and other related details in an easy to understand format. Experienced team members will be able to provide needed guidance while the intern will be expected to .automate the test runs both for purely software based tests as well as tests that run on reference boards using Intel's latest System on Chip microchips. Results generated should be made available on the intranet without any manual intervention. ?


Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Engineering/Science related field.
1 year of experience or coursework in the following areas:
- Experience with C & Java programming languages should be able to show samples of working code.
- Python, Perl knowledge to develop complex scripts.
- Linux system knowledge NFS, job scheduling, setting core affinity
- Html, web to be able to generate/present results/stats of test runs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming knowledge about telecommunication infrastructure, System on Chip devices will be a definite plus.
