Software Intern Graduate Level


Come intern with Intel's Product Architecture Group on the Server Firmware team. PAG drives the definition of Intel's phone, tablet, PC client, server and Many Integrated Core microprocessors from first concept, through design, validation and manufacturing. Software development responsibilities may be quite diverse, depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments may be for short periods up to 6 months throughout the school year. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: - Methodical problem solving skills - Ability to multitask - Ability to work in a team oriented environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong presentation skills - Strong organizational skills


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field. Prefer MS/PhD students, but will consider BS student entering their senior year as of fall 2015. - Minimum of 6 months experience with software/scripting programming languages. C/C++, Python, and Perl are required. Assembly and Ruby are desired.- Must have at more than 1 year of coursework/experience in the following areas: *Computer Architecture *Compilers *Programming Languages C/C++, Python, Perl Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Intel Architecture Intel Internship experience Resumes sent directly to the Hiring Manager will not be considered.
