Hardware Engineer 2017


Hardware HW team in Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group NSG division of Intel Corporation is looking for a HW engineer.HW team is responsible for all product design development phases ranging from PCB circuit design, simulations, layout, prototyping and validation leading to high volume manufacture of Intel's Solid State Drives SSDs. As an SSD HW Engineer, you will be responsible for range of tasks related to PCB design for SSD products.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: * Working closely with rest of the project teams to develop and qualify SSD products. * Evaluate and validate components for SSD PCBs.*Planning and documentation. * Dealing with challenging situation. * Communicate with different teams building relationship with them. *To work independently oriented to results.Qualifications:Candidate must be a college graduate with BS in Electrical Engineering or student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in EE.Candidate should have a good understanding of analog circuits design, signals and systems, transmission lines.Experience in PCB design including circuit design, schematic capture, layout and validation will be a plus.Candidate should be a team player and posses good communication skills.


Qualifications

Hardware HW engineers design and develop Solid State Drive SSD products that includes researching components, circuit design, simulations, schematic capture, component placement & routing on printed circuit boards PCB, building prototypes, validating designs and successfully transitioning to high volume manufacture HVM. HW engineers ensure that SSD designs conform to standards and specifications. HW engineers need to work closely with cross functional teams during pre and post design phase for smooth development of products and to meet product schedules. HW engineers develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field.
- The candidate must have legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- 6+ months of experience in development plans and cost estimates for project teams and execute to product schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience in developing tests procedures for components and SSD product designs and writing FW for component and SSD product validation.
