Job Description

Overview

i3 is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support an Army Contract. The Junior Systems Administrator will provide technical expertise supporting information system components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to satisfy architectural and business requirements in support of highly critical mission systems. Candidates for this position must possess, at a minimum, a United States SECRET level security clearance.

Responsibilities

* Provide Linux and Windows operating system and functionality support such as STIG application remediation and account creation.
* Administer, Manage and Perform the implementation of system additions and/or enhancements.
* Interface with customers and leadership to ensure project deliverable and milestones are being met on time.
* Experience with Microsoft Active Directory groups, GPOs, user accounts, and other objects.
* Experience with Windows System patching, 3rd party patching and software deployment utilizing tools such as WSUS and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
* Ability to build and customize Windows images for deployment.
* Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery technologies.
* Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
* General understanding of Information Assurance (IA) systems and practices such as DISA STIGs, system hardening and documentation creation.
* Interacts with customers and users and evaluates vendor products.
* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Qualifications

* Bachelor Degree and 1-year experience or Associate Degree and 2 years or HS Diploma and 4 years' equivalent experience.
* Ability and willingness to grow and work in a team environment.
* Must have Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills.
* General Information Technology principles and troubleshooting experience.
* Security + CE Certified
* Active Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain such.
