We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic entry level Software Engineer to develop software for our Unmanned Aircraft Systems that are in continuous development, operating in multiple countries throughout the world performing diverse, critical missions for our clients.

Job Family Handbook Description:

Assists with or performs modification or development of design documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and charts. Develops and maintains code. Integrates software components into an operational system. Develops software unit tests and performs defect evaluation and root cause analysis. May recommend and take corrective action. Evaluates hardware and software interface against system requirements. Conducts systems modeling, simulation and analysis. Assists and/or participates in software technical reviews.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

As a member of the Software Engineering department you will:

Knowledge - Skills & Abilities Required:

* Experience with compiled programming languages, C++/C/C#
* Knowledge of domains, characteristics, constraints and products that require real-time software and influence architecture, requirements, interfaces, designs, and integration/test approaches.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, careful attention to detail, open to taking direction and adapting to course corrections
* Knowledge of software development and testing tools, capability and usage.
* Professional or recreational experience with hobbyist robotics kits, remote control airplane modifications, or other microcontroller/assembly/firmware software development a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to independently identify and address tasks
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment


Minimum of a Bachelor's degree of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics.
