Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB

Mgr Marketing is responsible for implementing processes and procedures relating to the pre-authorization, development and production of marketing materials and ads, either web based or printed.  Incumbents are responsible for researching outside resources to assist in the marketing process, oversees marketing events, and develops and implements successful marketing programs.

Essential Functions of the Job:

-Responsible for the management of marketing activities including implementation of direct marketing strategies and plans, advertising, sales events, trade show involvement and sponsorships that drive measurable improvement in company performance (gross profit and client acquisition/penetration)

-    Provides strategic and planning support of marketing activities as well as prepares materials for presentations

-    Assists in the development of web or other media

-Researches and coordinates outside resources to deliver marketing activities

  • Provides guidance to a team of other marketing professionals who manage and implement marketing projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, minimum 3-5 years experience in advertising, marketing or product merchandising, or combination of education and experience.

Experience in professional services organization and/or marketing.

Experience working with Microsoft and/or Cisco.
