Public Relations/Social Media Relations Manager 


Are you a PR pro with great media relationships with a knack for storytelling and social media savvy? Then you could be a fantastic fit as the PR Manager for a global Fortune 500 country who is sharing a brand story about hunger, heart, harmony and the technologies that help the biggest names in business run smarter every day.

We are seeking a public relations and social media manager to develop a strategic approach to elevate the company’s brand in the marketplace through earned and owned media approaches. The manager will play an integral role in setting and executing public/media relations and social media strategy. This energetic professional should be self-motivated, accountable and able to work independently as well as part of a highly- collaborative team. We work as fast as our industry is changing and we’re all here to see results that help us win together.


  • Connect with influential media outlets (including bloggers and industry sites) and journalists to place stories about company news and other strategic initiatives.
  • Establish a sustainable, strategic approach to PR with a rolling 90-day view based on campaign and brand objectives.
  • Own the public relations agency relationship and leverage their expertise, relationships and strategic perspectives and work collaboratively to add strategic value to media outlets and earning meaningful placements.
  • Leverage Insight content (articles on Insight.com/Learn, subject matter expert presentations, etc.) and grow the company’s earned media brand footprint demonstrated by KPIs like traffic to Insight.com, marketing qualified leads, opportunities and revenue tracked from PR efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with prominent members of the company, including executives and subject matter experts, to craft and pitch press releases and thought leadership columns.
  • Develop and maintain reporting metrics to illustrate the value of our Public Relations programming tying earned media to revenue results.
  • Develop key thought leadership voices and position select subject matter experts through earned media, cultivate effective personal brands and build cache around Insight thought leaders on owned and earned media channels.
  • Generate strategic relationships with industry groups, forums and communities in order to place key messages from Insight and/or thought leaders on topics relevant to Insight’s messaging.
  • Oversee all social media motions including; platform management, organic content strategies, analytics and client engagement.


  • BA/BS degree in public relations, journalism, marketing or equivalent working experience.
  • Seven or more years’ experience in public relations or corporate communications.
  • One to three years of experience leading teams
  • Significant proven knowledge of social media management and SEO
  • Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content.
  • Poise and confidence to work with top executives on sometimes sensitive matters.
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.

Ideal candidate will have experience pitching, crafting, and placing content externally through guest blogging or op-ed development and experience with event management and sponsorships and agency management, as well as a deep background in social me
