The Marketing Reporting Analyst is responsible for executing requirements assessment, data analysis, report writing and business support for reporting, dashboards and data analytics associated with Marketing. The Marketing Reporting Analyst is responsible for the development of effective and efficient reporting processes and controls. This position will drive revenue by producing data driven metrics that communicate status of overall Marketing program here at Insight.

 

What you’ll do as a Marketing Reporting Analyst:

 

  • Be the first point of contact for reporting and data questions for marketing team for overall marketing programs.  Familiar with key metrics to track for Data Driven Marketing such as impressions, conversion rates, click thru rates, etc..
  • Build Reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc data files to support a broad range of business needs in various tools primarily Power BI and Excel, but have knowledge about other data visualization tools such as Tableau etc.
  • Have a basic knowledge of Marketing processes and strategies.
  • Provides interpretation of data and reporting results
  • Validate that deliverables meet business need and requirements and that data is accurate and precise.
  • Work with cross functional users to understand data needs and map needs to reporting/BI capabilities. Work with BI team and be able to understand SQL queries.  BW and BO capabilities a plus.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage ambiguity.
  • Be able to monitor digital campaign results and create reporting that will tell the story of the results using Google Analytics, Power BI, Adwords, and other reporting tools native to marketing tools.
  • Create and generate ad hoc requests using existing reporting tools and/ or Excel.

 

What We Need:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university. 
  • Minimum 2 years in a dynamic business environment conducting analysis, requirements definition, and reporting support. 
  • 2 years minimum using Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, formatting, variables, etc. along with Power BI or other data visualization tools. 
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience or exposure to Digital Marketing efforts in an organization. Basic understanding of SQL queries preferred.
