The Marketing Content Partner Specialist writes and edits high-frequency, demand generating emails and articles that align and connect with campaign managers to facilitate editorial planning to support Insight and Partner Go-to-Market messages. The content specialist supports editorial production, from idea generation to publication. They also edit all content before publication to ensure written materials provide the most impact and are compliant with Insight’s brand journalism standards. The person in this role should continuously be conducting research on interesting editorial themes, stories and trends using a variety of resource. They apply quantitative techniques and audit the quality and effectiveness of editorial and maximize value by evolving and atomizing existing content. This role reports directly to the Content Marketing Manager.

 

 

What we need you to do:

  • Produce and write content, based on assignments, knowledge and areas of expertise
  • Demonstrate writing experience for a variety of digital styles to include website, blog, social media posts, info graphics, e-newsletters, and print media; email, PPC copy, video scripts and presentations among others.
  • Understand how to identify and create content that aligns with Insight  and Partner strategies and brand requirements
  • Experience in writing for search engine optimization
  • Work with the content and analytic team to gather data and oversee analytics to rate the effectiveness of our content marketing efforts
  • Execute a robust editorial calendar that reflects the strategic messaging initiatives of the company
  • Write / edit content (white papers, articles, other digital materials as needed) to be released through multiple channels for multiple Partners
  • Work collaboratively with the social media specialist, multi-media producer, communications team, and an agile team run by a campaign manager to get content to published state.
  • Manage projects through Workfront to completion and upload to the DAM

 

What we need from you to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum 3 year of experience working in communications, public relations or journalism.
  • Strong editing skills and strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
  • Ability to write creatively for a variety of print and digital materials
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet aggressive service-level agreements
  • Excellent communications skills
