We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. Our intern/Co-op program offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering exposure to a variety assignments which could include: waste elimination projects for manufacturing areas, staffing planning and analysis, manufacturing process improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing), Industrial Engineering studies, Value Stream capability studies, and capital equipment expense requests. This position is available at our facility in Vidalia, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be able to rotate work and school semesters or balance 20-30 work hours per week with course work.

As we attempt to hire the majority of our full time positions through our intern & co-op talent, successful candidates will have an opportunity to interview for full-time positions.

Additional Requirements:

* Overall 3.0 GPA or above
* Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects)

About Ingersoll Rand

Thermo King's Bronze Program provides you with coverage for interim inspections and preventive maintenance services for 3 years on trailer and 2 years on truck refrigeration units. Bronze Program Includes: Coverage for Interim Inspections and Preventive Maintenance New Trailer and SB Classic units receive 2 Interim Inspections and 1 Preventive Maintenance Service for 3 years up to a maximum of 6,000 hours. Self-Powered Truck units receive 1 Interim Inspection and 1 Preventive Maintenance Service for 2 years/4,000 hours and Vehicle-Powered Truck units receive 2 Interim Inspections for 2 years.
