POSITION: Quality Laboratory Technician DURATION: Temporary LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH REPORTS TO: Plant Manager US HOURS: 32 to 40 hours per week; Flexible hours DESIRED DEGREE: In Progress; or Quality Lab Experience SCOPE: Primary testing and analysis of minerals used in the foundry industry for bonding technology. Testing used in the evaluation of minerals using laboratory testing equipment. Evaluate product quality compared to acceptable quality parameters. Collect the resulting information in an excel format and generate quality certificates / data for customers and other stakeholders. Requirements: Ability to read and follow procedures related to quality testing Ability to analyze and compare quality data Competent PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs Ability to perform basic to intermediate math functions EDUCATION Bachelor of Science in Materials Science, Engineering or physical chemistry (preferable).
