Job Description

Position Summary:

Illumina’s AMR Service Operations team is looking for a Service Revenue Generation Specialist to grow and create revenue streams from existing processes and workstream functions for which the team currently is responsible. The primary goal of this individual will be to maximize revenue for AMR Service and Support. The position will require deep collaboration with internal business partners across the Commercial Organization as well as our Field Service Engineers and Field Application Scientists.

The candidate must have a unique combination of both technical and commercial skills and a desire to help strengthen and scale our revenue delivery process.  We work at a very rapid pace where it’s important to have strong time-management skills, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and above all flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing pricing strategies based on strategic analysis of existing services and market potential.
  • Own financial performance and reporting - spend, ROI, and business case development.
  • Developing strategic lead generation campaign briefs that lead and inspire the coordinated activities of the lead generation program teams (marketing, sales, Field Service, Service Operations) and ensure timely and excellent execution.
  • Take existing service operations business processes/programs and develop new lead generation opportunities/campaigns
  • Work with existing lead generation processes in SFDC/CVENT to maximize program effectiveness in generating revenue
  • Forecasting pricing and revenue based on demand and market trends
  • Working with Sales leadership, develop Service promos to increase program revenue
  • Understand inventory management processes
  • Reporting on ROI and campaign performance (working closely with functional and analytic leads), guiding the team toward repeatable and scalable success.
  • Strong understanding of Service Industry including service contracts, billable revenue, and instrument services
  • Effectively manages the billable service workstream including quote creation, relocations, and related billable functions while partnering with service contract sales team to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MS in Science/Engineering or Business preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with SFDC and ServiceMax; specifically, SFDC campaigns, leads/contacts, reports
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with a CRM Quoting tool (Apptus, Big Machines)
  • 3-5 years’ experience working within a Service Organization
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive/leadership
  • Efficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MS in Science/Engineering or Business preferred
