Job Description

COMPUTER/IT Proj Lead, IBM Corp, San Jose, CA: Define & dvlp UNIX S-TAP release test plan & execution process. Design & implement quality processes & metrics. Anlyze changes & new features based on functional & design reqs. Recommend test strategies. Identify product areas below supportability & quality standards. Define & deliver software test automatn to improve productivity, stability, & performance. Transition new features, regression, manual test procedures, & sys test reqs into automatn. Troubleshoot performance issues on productn & test environmts. Perform root cause anlysis. Implement process gaps in QA test. Utilize SQL, databases, communication protocols, Windows, & UNIX. Req: Master's or equiv in CS, Engineering, or rel (employer will accept Bachelor's + 5 yrs of progressive exp in lieu of a Master's) & 1 yr of exp as a Test Specialist or rel. 1 yr of exp must incl utilizing SQL, databases, communication protocols, Windows, & UNIX.
