Job Summary:

Job Description:

Sales

>Identifies and establishes relationships with prospective domestic and international customers.

>Strengthens existing customer relationships by assessing their needs and recommending products and/or services to meet those needs in order to grow the deposit and loan portfolios.

>Meets with customers to resolve any problems or complaints.

>Additional duties may include approving wire transfers, preparing and/or updating performance-related reports.

Business Development

>Identifies new business opportunities utilizing existing portfolio of clients and by developing community partners.

Community Relations

>Joins local, regional or national organizations. Serves on the board and eventually as an officer with at least one organization.

Strategic Planning

>Reviews and assists to update reports related to the international business plan.

Other

>Guides new employees through initial orientation by providing relevant information on Bank programs, policies and procedures. Monitors employee progress.

>Ensures the Bank's compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to confidentiality, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Banking Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act.

Job Qualifications

Required

* Two year college degree or comparable combination of education and work experience.
* 1+ year of experience selling products or services to customers.
* Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) with all levels of co-workers and customers in a professional manner in English and Spanish.
* Ability to handle confidential and propriety information.

Preferred

* High motivation with ability to successfully meet individual and team performance goals.
* Experience identifying new opportunities.
* Experience interacting positively with unsatisfied customers.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Basic Microsoft Office skills.
